What Now?!!

I would hope that no one was so preoccupied with capturing Osama Bin Laden that they now have no special interests and are unmotivated.I can imagine, and understand, how people, especially those who lost loved ones on 911, could have been consumed with this man. Yet the danger is, now that it's over, it could be hard to move on. Think about it. You can wish for something so hard that when you get it, then what? The dog chases the car, the car stops, the dog catches it...then what? Be careful not to become a victim yourself by holding on to negativity or by having nothing more to aspire to, once your main goal has been reached. That is the reason why we need to be motivating ourselves on a regular basis, having more than one goal.Motivating ourselves? Yes!!In many ways. Have you ever heard the phrase,"An idle mind is the devil's workshop"? What that means to me is this."If you don't keep yourself busy doing, or thinking positively, there is a chance that you could get bored and the enemy steps in with an assignment."I wonder what my husband(or wife )is doing right now?Why were they so happy calling from work?...Must be something going on".Many times boredom can be avoided by doing things that you are interested in.If you don't have any known interests, then look deep within yourself and find something that you really like. If you look hard enough, you'll probably find something. When you do,try to make sure that it's something that gives you a feeling of accomplishment. It doesn't always have to be about you. Learn to delight in other peoples' happiness. You may ,or may not, know the satisfaction of making someone else truly happy.Better yet, it sometimes only takes a compliment or a kind word. What have you to lose by saying a kind word or smiling?Quite to the contrary, you have much to gain.Live a little..live a lot. Life is better that way. That really is what it's for, you know...living.
